Unlike with P3D you have to do it all manually yourself for every axis and button, at least in the beginning.
Fsuipc pete dowson mac#
Mac although I recommend FSUIPC and use it myself it doesn't assign anything automatically. However although I got the warthog working with the prepar3dv2 ok - when I added the peddles they seemed bizarrely to be auto mapped to the elevators - however the trouble is when I try to reassign them to the rudder axis (I previously used the warthog trimmer) it just doesn't want to pick up the rudder pedals when I reassign even after deleting the old mapping.hence why I am considering the FSUIPC.in addition I often get problems with run away throttles on start up when I am using just the warthog.(also just want to clarify you are talking about reassigning/deleting all the axis assignments rather than something else correct?) Go into control settings and see what is assigned to the peddles.ĭon't be surprised to find them controlling the throttle or some other dumb thing.ĭelete every assignment that is obviously wrong.ĭo the same with the joystick and throttle. The reason your axises went crazy was probably because of duplicate assignments within P3DV2. Mac, at this stage you might be better off sticking with P3DV2's own control settings.
Fsuipc pete dowson software#
However I noticed gboz is suggesting using it with the TARGET software (which I don't use) - I am also slightly confused as I thought the point of this software was so you didn't have to set up on TARGET or assign the keys in game you can just us the FSUIPC4?Īlso as I am now getting the sense it might be difficult for a beginner to setup does anyone have a fsuipc.ini they can send me to get me started? (from the above comments I presume you can just drop into the Prepar3dv2 folder and it should work with minimal tinkering ?) - note I also have the Saitek rudder pedals as well the warthog throttle and stick and I use track ir5.any help appreciated Actually the reason I am considering using it is that I was trying to get my rudder pedals to work with the warthog and all the axes went crazy - so someone suggested using FSUIPC4 for prepar3dv2 - and this should solve the problems
